Not ready to rough it? State parks, state natural areas and state historic sites offer a wide variety of overnight lodging besides camping. Click on the links below to find out more about a specific park's facilities.

You can reserve all facilities online, except for group facilities. Call (512) 389-8920 to reserve a group facility.

Cabins & Group Lodges

These facilities have bathrooms. Pets are not allowed in or around the cabin areas. The only exceptions are service animals aiding physically challenged persons. State and/or local hotel/motel tax is added to cabin rates.

These facilities do not have bathrooms attached. Restrooms are usually in the area.

Lodges & Motels


Screened Shelters

Each shelter has a picnic table, electricity, outside grill or fire ring, water (no indoor plumbing), and paved or gravel parking for two vehicles. A maximum of eight persons is allowed per shelter.
