A professional photographer for more than 35 years, Mark Kolanowski makes his living with portraiture, commercial, school, and event photography. But he doesn't put away his cameras when he gets the chance to travel, kayak, fly-fish, hike, and spend time out of doors. For this lifelong outdoors person, photography keeps curiosity and a passion for learning engaged. Exploring the natural world, wondering what view or creature is around the next bend of a river or trail, and capturing those moments to be relived and shared is the reward for having a camera permanently attached to his right hip!

Kolanowski reports that he has been blessed with many teachers, mentors, and friends that have shared their photographic knowledge. He enjoys sharing in turn, watching other people grow and succeed in their photographic endeavors.
