Online Registration System (ORS)
The new Online Registration System is live!
You may login and start scheduling classes.
Your login ID is your email address. Your password is Uppercase First Initial, Uppercase Last initial, and your birthdate (2 digit month, 2 digit day, and 4 digit year.)
When you login please change your password.
On your PROFILE PAGE, there are Quick Start Guides that will help you learn the tasks necessary to use ORS. If you need assistance, please email or call your regional TPWD Hunter Ed Specialist.
1. Please change your password when you login for the first time. It must be strong to be accepted. It will probably be one of the strongest passwords you have every used. The reason for this is simple, the software company has data security insurance and they will provide services to ensure data security and recovery. The insurance is in force if instructors and staff have strong passwords. This requirement is for the security of 1.4 million records. Student accounts are not required to have strong passwords.
2. When you first start scheduling classes don’t forget to “add course location.” You must do this first. After you have a library of locations you will not need to perform this task unless you change teaching locations. Another tip!!!! It doesn’t matter what you think the address is for your location, it must match what Google says it is. If you don’t follow this tip, the search function will not work properly. Use google and see how your address is spelled, Drive verses Dr can make a difference.
3. Until you are comfortable with the process remember to save a draft of your classes. There is a draft button on the scheduling pages.
Ag Science teachers: checkout the “private course” function and quick start guide. This function is for all courses that do not require a public search.
The new system is exciting and easy to use. It provides a great experience for students that wish to get certified to Hunt and Boat in Texas.
