Catch of the Month
Water Body Record — January 25, 2016
Outdoor writer David Sikes was riding with a TPWD fisheries management crew, working on a story for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, when he caught this 2.5-pound, 17-inch white bass in the Nueces River. The fish was released alive, qualifying for a both a weight record and a catch-and-release record on the Nueces.
