Ralph Brookshire caught this record-breaking skipjack on August 5, 2020 in the Brownsville Ship Channel. The fish measured 29.5 inches in length and weighed 7 pounds. This catch is the current state and water body record, state and waterbody catch and release record, and qualified for a big fish award.Congratulations, Ralph!
