Elizabeth Russian caught and released this Black Drum in Aransas Bay on February 9, 2022. The fish weighed 45.23 pounds and measured 42 inches in length. This catch is the new Water Body Record and qualified for a Big Fish Award. This was Elizabeth’s fifth saltwater Big Fish Award, so she also was awarded a Saltwater Elite Angler Award.* Congratulations! *Anglers who catch trophy class fish of five different species will be recognized as Elite Anglers.
