This popular program continues this year each Thursday at 9 am. Meet at the Interpretive Center to walk an adoptable dog from the local Grand Companions animal shelter. Each month we will explore a different topic in a hands-on, educational, and fun hour or so of learning guaranteed to get your child excited about animals, plants, and the world around them. Our first Home school Day will be Thursday, September 27th from 10 am until noon. We will be learning about animal adaptations by doing some bone sleuthing with a hands-on study of skulls and bones. We’ll end with a fun craft activity to check out what they learned.
